Believe it or not, those frames were even once upon a time… but after a few months of adjusting lights, cameras, and maybe one too many interviews that ran long, they’ve drifted. I’ll get right on it before it drives any more viewers nuts. Appreciate the eagle eye.

For many Republican leaders, speaking out now would mean acknowledging that they’ve enabled this behavior for years. That’s a tough political reckoning most still aren’t ready to face.

and the party’s silence often signals complicity.

Suing or threatening to sue his own Justice Department for $230 million isn’t just unprecedented, it’s a reflection of how transactional his relationship with institutions of government has always been.

Look, what you’re describing gets to the heart of the anxiety a lot of people have right now not just about one party or the other, but about the durability of democratic norms. You can check your dm for the rest of the response...

This is a clear reminder of the strength of our legal system and the high bar for defamation cases, especially involving public figures. The courts continue to serve as a critical check, even in politically charged moments.

Exactly. History has shown time and again that when those with influence stay silent in the face of authoritarianism, it emboldens those in power and erodes the foundations of freedom. The consequences are rarely good, and often devastating.
