A friend of mine was on Charlie Kirk's "watch list" of Black professors. She received so many death and rape threats that her university offered her a security detail for the walk to class.

I had a remarkably pleasant text conversation this morning with the lady buying my groceries at Costco. She thanked me, I thanked her we chatted some. It’s possible I promised to babysit for her, but it was worth it for some human connection.
