You know law is one of my fields? I have a JD. How then to explain R judges ruling on the same question differently than a D judge? This SCOTUS accept "gifts" from rich pols. Very political. e.g rulings limiting Biden's power over and over but Tump gets win after win.

Won’t happen until December 5 when the special election from Tennessee for an open seat and certified, and the new Republican vote will offset the dumb Congress elect.

And, oh BTW, one's "judicial philosophy" is a POLITICAL choice. Not like skin color, one is not born with it. Again, it's all myth.

That's the myth around the Supreme Court. They're ALL politicians (and always have been) some just aren't as obvious as the current bunch.

The "Dims" "played along" with the CR, now reaping the GOP disdain for the rules which the*will* over-ride, go-around, etc. The filibuster will survive only as long as GOP can find a workaround. When there is none, the filibuster is toast. Thanks #chuckschumer

In NYS, WFP is ineffective "opposition" party, too much aligned with Dems. and subject to the crazy pragnitism that fusion voting imposes upon the minor parties.

Unity by staying the course? Been there. Done that. You and others can show unity by doing the same. You're saying "Stick with us." I'm saying, "Stick with me!" Rs are not dead yet! Rs're doing well these days. Unless they're like the Passenger Pigeon.

No. "Splintering off" had zero effect on this election. Check the returns.Any splintering was Harris' failure to build a winning coalition. I'm a white, now older liberal male, but I cannot think of her speaking directly to me ever. Needed more tough as nails prosecutor Kamala, less Oprah.

Start third party. I'm resigning membership in Dem Party. Actively served decades on local committee, as County Chair, as Dem election lawyer, ran for public office 4 times as sacrificial lamb, gave $$ to candidates . ..but I'm done. Dem party, Biden and Garland failed the nation.
