How many games last year were you watching and thinking the reason they were losing was because they just weren't getting enough from the TEs? For me, that number is ZERO. But I saw their run defense get smashed many times and I saw DBs miss tackles and get confused every game. Please draft defense.

Sounds like this is still the early part of his story, not nearly the end. Hard to understand how Colts could allow him to return to the field in good conscience. And its really gross that they would only do it if he took a pay cut. I’m just not getting the feel good vibes from this that others are.

Very optimistic view that the Bengals would consider Paye of any value in a trade.

That’s nice that he wants to play. But it’s time for Ballard to be less nice and more focused on making the team better. Restructure his contract or wave goodbye. Same with Ebukam and, dare I say, Q?

The answer is Daniel Jones. He is decent competition and reportedly a great teammate. AR needs a support system like him, especially if they are not going to re-sign Ehlinger. Getting AR on track is the only thing that matters this offseason.

As a person born in the 70s, I turned off the news around 9pm on election night and haven’t turned it back on since, so I have no idea what you are referring to. I can’t even imagine the damage actively engaging in another Trump presidential news cycle would do to the human brain.

I have Hulu TV. It’s fine, but really not a lot of cost savings at this point. It’s doubled in price in the past 2 years. Still have to pay Comcast for the internet.

If the owner says don’t pay the tax, then they are going to do what they have to do to not pay the tax. Never forget, all pro sports teams exist to make money. If they manage to win a trophy too, that’s just a nice bonus for the fans.

What you meant to ask is if Irsay is willing to pay for Ballard to convert some salaries to bonuses, which requires having enough liquid cash to guarantee the bonuses. The answer is very likely, NO.

For what is often talked about as being an overly simple scheme, it seems our LBs and DBs are too often confused about their assignments. Which seems antithetical. I would like to see an upgrade in the actual coaching of football skills and awareness not so much in terms of tactics and strategy.

The only person who should be fired is whoever was in charge of AR’s off-field onboarding to the NFL. If he pans out, he is a 15 year, $600 million investment and apparently Colts didn’t bother to have anyone advise him on expectations? By far the most worrisome thing that happened this season.
