When you think about it, it is probably safest to assign these imbeciles to the international cocktail circuit rather than appointing them to domestic roles where they can wreak havoc on the effectiveness of critical government functions.

A good number of these color analysts who were former players lose their ability to offer insightful commentary as they move further away from their playing days. And some, like Romo, seem more interested in basking in their celebrityhood.
