I watched it in a lark a few months ago because it was on Netflix. Such a fun movie. Hackman’s whole thing with DiCaprio was terrific.

The quid pro quo is so obvious that I can’t imagine him winning the Dem primary (and if he flips to GOP, the general).

Do you think the same applies to how the release strategies for Nickel Boys and September 5 changed? Those were both supposed to come out a good deal earlier in the fall but ultimately only got similar limited December runs before Oscar noms.
