It’s with great sadness (lol, not really) that I conclude this experiment of trying to post in this thread about every single piece of media I see.

You can follow me on Letterboxd, pretty much the only social media I update regularly. boxd.it/7Klf

As for TV, you can follow me on TVTime, even though they lack a “diary” feature so it’s pretty much just useless stats. (This is why I’m pro adding TV shows to Letterboxd!!)

Another one of my fav episodes, and one of my favorite Brennan performances overall. His tr0mp Sauron and his dom DM are legendary.

Last night after I finished watching this I realized something: out of all the men I’ve loved in my life (and there have been many, and they’ve all shaken me to my core) I can’t think of a single one I still long for. After a while, they just become distant memories I don’t feel like revisiting.

Anyway, for a Showtime limited series, at least the makeup looks infinitely better than fckn “J. Edgar” 😝 speaking of closeted gay Republicans

Yeah it’s hilarious seeing the effort they put in trying to make Bomer look like he’s in his 60s, especially bc he’s prob gonna look exactly the same as he does now. XD

But yeah, I wish they had been more specific ab the ages instead of being “he goes from vaguely 30s to vaguely 60s, figure it out”

I’m not as impressed by Allison because I’ve seen that same character a thousand times before and she’s not really doing anything new for me.

But Bailey, man, he needs more roles like this.

Forgot to log this yesterday.

Game Changer is so consistently brilliant it’s getting boring already, lol. Like, how many times can they outdo themselves? It’s crazy.

Didn’t know what to expect from the time jump, but the 60’s episode was pleasantly heartwarming. Hawk’s kid being a soft emo outcast is a pretty cool twist.

I gotta say this tho: despite this being a career-best for Bomer, Bailey just acts circles around everybody in the cast. He’s a beast.

Such a powerful depiction of privilege: the things people do with it, and what they do to keep it.

Humanizing Roy Cohn doesn’t soften him or his crimes, it actually makes me hate him even more. He CHOSE that path, so his pain is nobody’s fault but his. He doesn’t deserve another man’s touch.

It’s crazy how much I despise Hawk, considering Roy Cohn is a character on the same show.

A show in which Jonathan Bailey fights the 3 biggest enemies of gay men: government homophobia, HIV/AIDS, and the most toxic top imaginable.
