It's 2:30am so I'm not gonna release this on Itch now, but in honor of 42 million Americans losing SNAP benefits this month, I wrote "Eat a F****** Billionaire", a sequel to the smash hit, "Punch a F****** Billionaire". Pretty excited about it. Here's a little taste (lol).

One of the greatest video games *of all time* is getting an enhanced re-release, and I'm so excited that when I saw the ad, I started crying 🥹

This game, along with FFVI, shaped *so much* of who I am as a person, and my taste in video and ttrpgs.

I'm a huge fan of the Chronicles of Amber, and I'm also a huge fan of Winnie-the-Pooh. So naturally, when I found Jeremy Zimmerman's "Nine Princes in the Hundred Acre Wood" a thousand years ago, I was obsessed.

Last night, randomly, I decided to make a mockup cover for the game. So. Here's that!

Second, don't worry, itch is a notoriously difficult to navigate website, and it's not very user friendly.

On the top right of a game's page is a "rate this game" button - that's encouraged, but comments are always wonderful!

My brain won't let me sleep until I get this out apparently so here's some random sneak peaks at a FFVI / Chronicles of Amber crossover that I can't stop thinking about.
A labyrinth pattern on stone ground; the pattern itself is dark blue, and there are emanations of itself raising up into the air in a lighter blue, getting more transparent as they go upward. Preview of one of the pages from the story. The title is "A Shadow In Balance, A Shadow In Ruin". The first heading is "Two Amberites and a Chaosian Walk Into a Shadow...", followed by some blurred words, and then "They became gods, and their friendly rivalry amongst each other was deadly for the humans that worshipped them. They were known as the Warring Triad." The next paragraph is also blurred, though the word "Espers" can be seen in the middle. The second heading is "'Never Must We Be Woken'". It is followed by two blurred paragraphs. The first line of the third paragraph is "They vowed to each other never interfere with this world again, nor becomes gods in any others"; above that sentence, between "never" and "interfere", is an upward arrow and the word "to" in red, depicting an intended edit to the sentence. The rest of the paragraph is blurred. The final paragraph says, "The Chaosian assumed the guise of an esper named Maduin, and, along with the other espers, vowed to protect the statues. The Triad's final message to the world was, "never must we be woken." At the bottom is the third heading which says "The War of the Magi", and then there are no more words.

Amen. Do not look down your nose on people who still use those "evil" platforms, just because you think you're a goddamn saint for leaving them.

You can encourage change without demonizing people who rely on Twitter/Facebook/et cetera for community and income. Rebuilding a following is not easy.

Sometimes you just gotta scrap it all and restart. I've spent about 5 or 6 hours all told on this so far, but I think I can do better, and I'd rather start over now than in another several hours.

Any of y'all out there working on maps this weekend?

I recently gathered most of my short stories, poems, and unfinished novellas into a printable booklet so I could read through it ('cause some of it is over a decade old), and I had to make a cover, because I'm extra sometimes. Anyway, here's that cover - I really love the drawing.
