There was a later panel with him and a few others who contributed to a new exhibit there at the museum about Christa and the mission. After the photo, we got to have a nice chat briefly about the state of the US space program, global space efforts, and the uncertain state of the world in general.

I got to see astronaut Ricky Arnold speaking here this evening at the McAuliffe Shepard Discovery Center on the 40th anniversary of the Challenger disaster in commemoration of Christa McAuliffe's legacy. My coworker and I were able to get a photo with him.

I endured more tribulations in 2025 than any previous year, persevered thru the most arduous (and unforeseeable) challenges I have yet experienced, but I somehow survived and still am able to continue pursuing my goals, now with more determination and certainty than ever before.

So much has changed since these photos of me around 2018-19. This era was the peak of what I thought was only the beginning of so much progress, before everything in the world and around me changed and set me back. I had to reconsider my goals.
But my same determination continues in new directions.
