I find it hilarious that the man with a sunny-D spray tan in the White House has claimed now that the Great Depression would have been averted with tariffs.

I remember growing up and being somewhat anxious of the feeling of pressure in my head I’d get when hearing music that made me emotional.

I feel like humanity lost something important when we settled down and built cities in which generation after generation live.
The feeling of walking in a direction and only stopping when too tired to move, and then continuing onward until hill and tree vanish over the horizon. I yearn for it.

Moral superiority can’t be attained without minimizing suffering through all avenues.

If your conversational partner is stating their viewpoints clearly and concisely and you’re refusing to elaborate to your own reasonings, you’re not “winning,” you’re not a “master debater,” you’re just dumb.

It’s disheartening realizing how the US’s reputation will likely take an entire generation to recover even if we manage to fix the systemic problems in our government.
Especially when about a quarter of the population is responsible for all this mess.

I never would have thought when I was younger that Doctor Strangelove would feel more like a documentary of current politics than a work of fiction.
