Drowning my sorrows in... salt? grease? corn syrup?
Bento box meal on a faux wood table, with part of a leaf-print booth visible across from the picture-taker. Behind the bento box are a bowl of brown tempura dipping sauce and a shallow container of light orange colored "yum yum" sauce. Clockwise, the bento box contains tempura shrimp and vegetables, 3 slices of California roll, one spring roll and one gyoza dumpling, a bit of salad with ginger dressing, and a mound of fried rice. In the middle of the bento box is a tiny square of sweet chili sauce.

Really amusing "solved" sudoku that we found in an activity book at our table when we we ended up at an "Amsterdam-style" coffee shop last night (while killing time before the prog/psych night at the tiki bar).

Ate lunch 3 hours later than usual due to jury duty, but at least I got to eat doner kebab since I was already downtown...

Garlic Lover Softshell Crab, don't mind if I do (didn't put this up on my other social media because I guess it looks kind of like a horror movie)!
Two plates (on a black tablecloth with gold-colored accents). The small, round, plate on the left has white rice in the center, that has been in a flower-shaped mold. The larger, elliptical plate on the right has an orchid blossom and orange slice on one end, the rest of the plate is taken up by 3 softshell crabs arranged on a bed of vegetables (the vegetables are mostly green). The crabs are topped with minced garlic.

Birthday balloon my male counterpart got me a couple of days back, don't have many decorations out at our new place yet since we moved here just over a week ago. Our cats have to be heavily supervised around this thing.
Large mylar balloon, star-shaped and with star print, that includes the words "HAPPY BIRTHDAY." Has curly pink, green, purple, and blue paper streamers attached, and is tied to a shiny green balloon weight. The ballon weight is on a small table with a few other objects including a Rubix cube and a sugar bowl. The background shows part of a flat-screen TV, a blank white wall, and a door frame with window blinds.

Waited in line for (Barb's) barbecue for a couple of hours, at least the place had free cold drinks for those in line:

Brief detour in fairyland this afternoon...

Looking back at pictures from the past couple of months that I didn't do anything with, to see if any of them are of note... just pretend that I put this picture of the Riverwalk lights up sometime before Christmas, or at least before New Year's...

Finally made it back to a tiki bar, so just going to imagine I'm wandering around this landscape instead whenever I get stressed out during this holiday season.
The wall of a tiki bar that's decorated for Christmas. There are artificial waterfalls, tinsel garlands, and small decorations like a penguin and evergreen trees. There are glass and rope ship floats hanging from the ceiling.

Oh, alright. I think I usually say I'm into "worrying, complaining, and yoga." But I'm not going to try to convince you to do yoga! I live in south central-ish Texas. And here's Tara-zed when we got him from the shelter in June:
