The Beach Boys may’ve been the first music I ever heard and Brian Wilson had a direct hand or indirect influence in nearly all the guitar-based music that means something to me. from the Velvet Underground to the Jesus & Mary Chain to Spiritualized, he was always the clear through-line. RIP, king
