Predictably, the Russian reaction to the Ukrainian unconditional ceasefire offer is that Russia has a condition: that Ukraine concede its sovereignty to Russia. Now Russia will try to get the Americans to do for them things they cannot do for themselves.

I called up my Democratic senators. I believe they won’t vote for it, but wanted my voice heard. So did a lot of other people it was hard to get through.
For the democrats saying “we can’t let the govt shut down” you’ve already lost. It’s not on you.
Republicans control everything, didn’t come to you for anything except your vote. Where else can you force changes? You can’t… you’re a willing participant in Republican majority
