Hella good. Compelling in a way that makes you want to watch the next episode immediately but enough going on to think about for a week. Incredible performances across the board, obvious that a lot of thought been put into direction and cinematography too. Story is a mystery and slow burn but great

Witcher profession she was obviously going to do. Full on "I've done a trial of the grasses and have witcher eyes" Witcher wasn't what I expected. I hope Geralt or Yennefer is still kinda angry about her risking her life like that tbh. It's an opportunity for some good writing.

If Felix doesn't get in then after Greinke, Scherzer, Kershaw and Verlander get in there won't be another SP inducted on the writer's ballot for maybe decades. That's basically the argument.

Timesplitters 2, vomposed by Graeme Norgate. Wild West, Nightclub, Chinese (which is in all the timesplitters games), Ufopia, Streets are all great. I've even seen a random youtuber in the wild using songs from it in their videos and immediately got hit with nostalgia.

It depends. Paradox games have their own launcher but within that launcher is basically a mod manager, which is really nice to have built into the game as a default. Nothing wrong with that.

Why didn't Vader enter in A New Hope in a similar style to the end of Rogue One? Originally I had a sense that the while situation was below him and he was there because of incompetence from those below him. The Rogue One ending gave him a very different vibe, closer to a horror villain.

I don't know anything about US education but we actually did start algebra at 11/12 but calculus is at 16/17. Seems fine? I was like this for a while in maths, olympiads at 14, sucked at calculus at 17.

Around my way it's the NIMBY pensioners who won't let us build flats on an old disused carpark because it's "historic".

The interest rate is the traditonal first and most obvious choice of a central bank to control inflation. Ignoring a lot of nuance, higher interest rate = lower inflation and vice versa. With rates already high and inflation spiralling something really bad is going on (no prizes for guessing what).

Unrealistic. The parent would use the money for a second home, luxury vehicles or some other thing for themselves. Then they would claim things were harder when they were young if the child asked for some help.
