Many prescription drugs are imported from other countries. So trump’s tariffs could increase the price of specific drugs heavily. Consider stocking up on medications as well.

Populist rhetoric coming from the left is how you combat it. Even if you turn around and do standard liberal policies, populist rhetoric needs to come from the left because too often it comes to the right. People gravitate to it like a moth to a flame.

The problem is that infrastructure is toxic towards politicians and pundits that are pro-union, anti-establishment, populist, and people who question capitalism. The existing structure prevented Bernie from becoming the democratic nominee in 2016, so don’t put too much merit in that structure.
