I mean fair, it’s the final dungeon. But the rest of the game was mostly smooth sailing, so this is slightly annoying 😅

Yet, PiT is kicking my butt since it has sections that need me to use only the babies with legit end game enemies. I just want to finish it maaaan, stop those difficulty spikes please.

I just got pulverized in the QRPs.

Sorry but not sorry, this post was meant to trigger the Nintendo fans, not the Outfoxies enjoyers.

I just wish more energy types had access to a proper EX counter. Other than this, only grass type with Meowscara comes to mind.

I’ve enjoyed Dream Team Bros. a lot more than Partners in Time, so I don’t think it’s fair to say that the games got worse and worse with every entry. But it’s quite likely that Superstar Saga will stay my favorite, too. It’s an amazing game!

Interesting, I perceived the linearity and lack of interesting elements in the hub world as a big minus. Everything felt very disconnected from each other. But that’s likely a point of preference, I understand why one could prefer the game design of PiT for being more linear.

Big recommendation to play the first one by the way, it’s on my list of Nintendo’s greatest.

Last time I’ve played it was in my late teens though, so that might be nostalgia-tinted.

Time to scratch it off my gaming bucket list though, I am in the final dungeon at the moment.

I still have the apparently best and worst entry in the series waiting in my backlog then: Bowsers Inside Story and Paper Jam.

Congrats y’all!

For the first two I agree, but in return you can play them with more players, so they are better for gaming nights with friends.

Arcade enthusiasts including me love the game flow, controls and mechanics though… it probably depends on what you are expecting if their games are for you.

I think I’ve kinda went into it with too much expectations after many content creators recommended it. I was a bit let down, despite it probably being decent for what it is?
