Same! I've always wanted to play the first but never got around to it. So that might have helped me enjoy it more then most, even with the issues I had with it.

Combat was a ton of fun. Lots at your disposal and it honestly never got old to me. Hope you enjoy it once you get around to it!

Just sad there's so much bs holding this game back from reaching its true potential. With its very troubled dev cycle, at least we got it at all and it definitely could have come out a whole lot worse. 7/10. Play with mods to make it less grindy and more of a fun power trip if you're able.

Half of the dialogue is middle school level cringe and side quests are pointless. Talk to one of the contacts, do the exact same thing they asked you before but in a different location. Zero reason or story behind them. Still happy I played. Running around as an OP vampire is a lot of fun.

Beat Ninja Gaiden 4. Combat is great even if the difficulty options are stupid. God mode or get destroyed, choose lol
Bloodlines 2. Fabien sections are awful and half the dialogue is insanely cringe but I like the overall story and combat. I want to love it lol pacing is just so bad.

Ugh, I hate how accurate this side by side is lmao Not sure what they were thinking. The game definitely did not need to be padded this way and would have been more then long enough without it.

Insanely fun. Thought it was decent until I got like 3 hours in and got the feel for everything. Also, your village is beautiful and organized. Mine is a ridiculous mess and makes absolutely no sense lol If they add reasons to start a new game plus other then just cause, I'll probably do it.
