Reading The Fantastic Four from first to last.
Heroes Reborn, as a whole, was an interesting experiment, one which allowed Marvel to freshen up their classic characters for the then-modern age before folding them back into the main universe, but it felt like a lackluster speedrun through the greatest hits of The Silver Age.

It's a shame the second volume of Fantastic Four ended on the first part of a four-part crossover and featured an alternate reality (inside an alternate reality) and only Sue and Reed appeared (outside of a shadowy cameo by Ben at the end).

I'm pretty sure the military doesn't give a shit what you call yourself, man.

It's too bad the cover spoiled this.

This I do recall, however.

Johnny, Fury, Thor, and Ben are all dead. I somehow recall none of this.

Uh-huh.

Despite having read all of Heroes Reborn at least twice, I do not recall when Captain America went from the eagle to the traditional A. Was it when Jim Lee's studio took over the Avengers books?

I mean, Terrax has a point.

Some killer shots of Doom.

Apparently Plasma is a Heroes Reborn-only herald. She's never been depicted in Earth-616 or any other realities.

Superhero comic books have always been queer.

Galactus planting seeds / pods on planets he'll later harvest is an interesting update to his story.

How does Johnny have this picture?

Danger Room (or Danger Room-adjacent) scenes are nothing more than a way to insert action into books before the actual superhero action begins.

I am deeply hating this subplot involving Sue's fertility. It's basic bullshit penned by men.

This book is leaning way too heavily on us knowing Alicia and Ben's backstory. Their friendship, let alone their romance, has is so far from earned.

Absolutely loving this inking.

Fucking metal!

Oh come on! Give Doom his Time Platform.
