Just finished the baby's nursery. Really turned out great considering all the work we put into it. First we built a reading nook, then put up wainscoting and wallpaper, then crown molding. Then I extended the bookshelves to the ceiling for additional storage, and then we painted, and built the crib.

Caught a glimpse of this on the shelf of a local establishment. Purpler Stuff and Purplest Stuff. I assume the plain old Purple Stuff is on the bottom shelf. #purplestuff #wut

My daughter was just yapping away inside my wife at her most recent sonogram. (Googly eyes are for reference since right now she looks more like the Starship Enterprise than a human being) ~14 weeks.

A friend of mine thought her fairy figurines were too bland and asked me to brighten them up. This is my first attempt. I feel like I could have done better with the eyes and skin, but I do like how the wings, dress, and mushroom came out.

A small mini painting session! My wife's new Fairy Wildfire Druid called Spark and her familiar/wildfire spirit inspirationally called Hotsauce.

It's always hard to give small minis particular character, but I love the way Hotsauce's eyes came out.

Finished product of the airship build from my birthday! It still needs varnish, but all the proper painting is done.

Finished building an airship I received for my birthday. I didn't realize the whole thing came in small pieces and had to be glued together with plastic cement. First time working with plastic cement too. Couple of mistakes I can't take back but overall I'm happy with it. Next step, paint!

I am particularly happy with how the dry brushing technique paid off on this white dragon. Done entirely with standard craft paint from Walmart and some high gloss varnish.

Finally got a chance to sit down and paint a mini with my new paint set. Behold, a giant constrictor:

Grabbed brunch at Main Street Meats in Chattanooga Saturday. Teresd Major steak and local dark fresh eggs, toasted sourdough from Niedlovs, and some really great crispy spiced potatoes. Really some of the best food in Chattanooga.

Took a train tour to see the fall leaves back in October. Beautiful inside and out. Definitely recommend, courtesy of the TN Valley Railroad Museum.
