Is this a novelization of Critical Role's Legend of Vox Machina, or some other story with twins of the same name?

Power finally came back up an hour ago, so we'll have AC to beat the worst of the heat this week.

Plus we are supposed to be hosting a graduation party this weekend.

I didn't know In-N-Out sold burritos.

These were molded. I 3D printed the masters for the mold.

This is my first time working with resin, but I've worked with pewter molds for D&D minis years ago so I had a rough idea of the process. YouTube, TikTok, Discord, and trial and error were a big help in figuring out the rest.

I also ran into issues maintaining the right temperature while curing. If the dice were still a bit soft after demolding, I ended up putting them in the build chamber of my X1C for 12hrs while running the filament dryer function. It should be easier to maintain a good temperature during the summer.

I've also learned that I should have poured the base mold with the lowest numbers facing down so the lowest number is then facing up when I pour the cap. That way, imperfections due bubbles appear on the lowest/worst number.

My third attempt (the OP) turned out great after I picked up a pressure pot and cured the resin at ~30 bars. Still had a few small bubbles I fixed with UV resin.

Attempt #2 still had bubbles despite the silicone stirring stick, and I learned that I should warm up the resin before mixing because my basement is too cold, and a vacuum degasser is not effective at removing bubbles from resin.

Attempt #1 had way too many bubbles, and I learned I should mix the resin with a silicone stirring stick and *not* a popsicle stick. A popsicle stick is too rough and porous and introduces thousands of micro-bubbles.

I print a lot of random stuff on my X1C (not pictured). The resin printer is for making D&D minis and the masters I used to make these:

New (and unfortunately expensive) hobby: Making dice. This was my first good set (though the third attempt) and was a gift to my daughter.

They are all a pretty standard size. I used calipers on the various dice I had when designing the masters.

It is what it appears to be. It's pretty convenient when winterizing the outside hose bibs.
