Call me Kate
@chronickate.bsky.social
Hi, I’m an expat living in rural New Zealand with my kiwi partner and I homeschool our son. Some days are harder than others. I have this account to vent about chronic pain from my congenital deformity so not to burden my family more than I already do.
It is nice to know things are finite in a way, however grief has a funny way of sneaking into our days. I hope you can find peace in this passing. Xx

It certainly feels like a lot until you hear about others struggles. I can I only imagine what your daughter deals with and you as her parents wanting to help ease her troubles. Sending love and strength to you and yours. Thank you for sharing a bit of your (and her) story.

Thank you for trying to understand. I was born with severe clubbed feet. From “correction” i now have degenerative ankles & feet and muscle atrophy in my lower legs. It may be somewhat like having CRS in the foot and leg, can’t say for sure. I’m glad to hear your daughter found some relief though.

I absolutely fell in love with Notrthland, it’s part of why I moved to New Zealand. One day, hopefully, we may make it our home.
