If you’re someone who would deny children of immigrants an education (like the Oklahoma Department of Ed decided today), I honestly think hell is too nice of a place for you.

If you’re someone who thinks we should “close the border” & build a wall, you better not eat another tortilla or drink a margarita or watch anything else in color TV as long as you live. You can’t pick parts of a culture to enjoy while condemning the people of that culture to suffering & exclusion.

If you’re someone who thinks children born on U.S. soil to immigrant parents don’t deserve citizenship, for the love of god *you are on stolen land*. If people born to parents with no legal claim to this land aren’t citizens, that means none of us are citizens.

If you’re someone who thinks undocumented people should “just get documented,” consider asking an immigration attorney how expensive and complicated that is (and what the current waiting periods are like for people from Mexico and Central American countries).

If you’re someone who thinks undocumented people are “freeloaders,” we know undocumented people generate almost 100 BILLION dollars a year in tax revenue, but a person’s value has nothing to do with the money they generate. Do you get mad when billionaires don’t pay taxes? Wake. Up.

If you’re someone who supports tearing families a part because “it’s the law,” your hypocrisy is embarrassing.

Immigrants make our communities better, full stop.
