On a whim, I decided to sit down and play @johnromero.bsky.social's Daikatana. Gotta say, despite the decades of harsh criticism heaped on it by others I am actually loving the game so far. I do have the benefit of playing with the unofficial 1.3 patch that fixes many things but the core is solid.

I've been hooked on #systemshock2 thanks to
@nightdivestudios.bsky.social 's recently released remaster. So much so that I have been spending a good chunk of my days learning the arcane, esoteric, and, at times, utterly frustrating ShockEd to make a full fan mission.
