Now that there’s vastly more accessible and extensive online multiplayer, and discord communities… I cannot stress enough how badly Kirby Air Ride needed this in 2025, and now we are getting more than that. …Am I still dreaming?

Quick story…
Kirby Air Ride was one of my favorites in my childhood, but my friends didn’t play very long and it’s hard to get friends to play something I’m more passionate about, so I forgot about the game for other games. Then in 2018, I rediscovered the game and I’ve never been more back.

- Monsters in the map that drop patches
- more bosses and they just exist in the map from the start
- holding multiple consumable items that you can use to do cool stuff (maybe only worked because touch screen)
- portals to other instanced areas with minigames for loot

Together, we single-handedly doubled the growing number of true fans!!

Once I finish doing some art passes and other early polish, I'll finally add the character select... which means a new character is finally appearing at some point later this year.
I'm waiting till the game's multiplayer is feature complete, then comes the actual content like maps and badges!
