Das ist aktuell wohl auch der Grund wieso sich Elkw aktuell finanziell lohnen. Manchmal werden halt auch sinnvolle Anreize gesetzt.

Gestern eine Werbung gesehen die "KI" dafür anpreist dass sie dir die Entwicklungsstufen des Demogorgon erklären kann. Wenn das der wichtigste Usecase mit dem man werben kann dann Gute Nacht!

Guess I am 1,2, 10 and 13🫣 But I am wondering: how many doomers actually base their life decisions on their doomism? Like not having kids, not continuing to work in the job they are trained for or saying f*ck it I am going to travel the next 10 years w low income because who knows w will be in 10y.

Yes true! It would probably be a double digit CO2 reduction without the need of investing, installing or producing technologies. And almost nobody talks or acts accordingly. I mean 2 % of people are vegan but way more are "concerned" about climate change 🤔

Ich war mal in der Szene unterwegs und auch auf Wettbewerben. Ziemlich nerdy aber super interessant. Vor allem die Techniken zum blind lösen oder mit möglichst wenigen Zügen. Alles kein Hexenwerk aber fordert hohe Konzentration und viel Übung. Wie in vielen anderen Sportarten auch.

Wäre die gute Nachricht nicht: China verbrennt weniger Kohle und Gas. Denn das ist doch alles was zählt.

Bei solchen Nachrichten, die sich ja prinzipiell gut anhören, frage ich mich immer: wurde denn auch absolut weniger Kohle verbrannt oder einfach Solar zugebaut?

Especially if there are measures that are not being pushed like refraining from breeding lifestock. This could be implemented without installing or inventing technology. Completely for free. Nobody is talking about that. It's just renewables, Ecars and heatpumps. :-(
