Oh for sure! Working there definitely made me appreciative of my fast metabolism haha, I had a lottttt of treats working there cuz EVERYTHING was so good!

LOVE IT though so definitely getting back to it once I break into tech and get everything together! One of my sparring friends is the one who runs marathons for fun (🤨) and is trying to get me to do one, so maybe Muay Thai AND marathon this year?? We’ll see haha. And wbu, how’d you get into boxing?

I do more Muay Thai but it was always something I wanted to get into! I took a kickboxing class at my community college 2015 which taught me some fundamentals and would just practice at my gym’s bags. Then started Muay Thai 2019 but then COVID and haven’t had a chance to really get back to it.

Omg lmao I totally feel that last part, literally me when I tried out landing on the balls of my feet. Was warned to start slow and only do a couple blocks at most, but I was feeling fine and kept going. Then it all hit when I stopped and I thought I’d have to Uber back 😂 calves were dying all week

😂😂😂 I’ve never run enough to experience runner’s high, but I have experienced runner’s pain / runner’s cramp / runner’s *insert bad thing here*. I am trying to learn how to run correctly though so it minimizes that. And hearing runner’s high makes me think of Sheng Wang:

Aw yeahh nice! Bazooka Joe has a whole series starting from basics here too, think he started it around 2016 or 17 but it’s been going for a while haha, lot of good info (use more as resource but def work with a coach as soon as you can so you don’t develop bad habits)
