For those of you who are still reading, my wife watched 144 movies with me this year, down from 187 last year. It's like she was busy having a kid or something.

Since I started my Letterboxd in 2021, I have watched 1,072 movies. That's a lot of movies. Most people will say that's TOO many movies. I might agree. I don't plan to watch 400 movies in a single year again any time soon.

"Shock Treatment"
Brad and Janet are back and worse than ever in this loose and undeniably insane sequel to 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show.' Their town has been turned into a TV studio and is run by the mysterious fast food magnate Farley Flavors. Buddy, that's just the BEGINNING.

"Nancy Drew... Detective"
The first of four Nancy Drew serials produced in the late 1930s. It was the first movie I showed my daughter two days after she was born. All four of the serials were great, but this one was really something special.

"Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person"
The title says it all. The film follows Sasha, a young vampire who is repulsed by the thought of killing people for food. She hatches a plan to only kill people who want to die. It's a lot funnier than it sounds.

"Umbrellas of Cherbourg"
A technicolor French opera (stick with me) in which a guy, named.. well.. Guy, is drafted to war and away from his beloved Geneviève before finding out -- whoops! -- she's pregnant. I watched it four times this year alone.
