Excellent! I’ve added this msg to my TBR note and will check-back when I read any of these. Thanks so much.

This is fantastic—thanks, Ben! I LOVED Doomsday Book, and might try the sequel to that book. Do you have an absolute favorite among the authors or books you’ve listed?

Kindred & Fledgling by Octavia Butler are favorites (I couldn't get into Parable of the Sower, but I will try that again eventually). More recently The Obsidian Sisterhood series by Lydia Hawke. As I type this, I remember that Ursula K. Le Guin has been on my list to try.

I just heard someone talking about this yesterday, how essays are (or can be) places where people try to understand what they think. I took an essay writing course last summer, and each essay that fellow students shared was impactful in some way. I forgot about that aspect of the experience.

Hope you enjoy! I listened to it on audio. Curious to see where the second book will lead.

That's encouraging! I looked at one point, but didn't come across much. Will see how next weekend goes (although I'm not sure how much of the game I'll be able to catch due to a prior commitment).

It’s nice knowing that Edith Wharton is safe.
