Steam Deck compatibility tests are mostly automated and if it runs into issues running the software, they don't make any changes to try to make it work unless it's a high demand popular title. They just label it as unsupported

One thing that I've always hated about ProtonDB is their outright refusal to allow non-game software to show up in searches on their site, so I had to plug in the Steam AppID for aesprite into the URL.

Unsupported does not mean it doesn't work! It will work, but it requires a mouse and keyboard, and apparently some tweaks are required on steam deck as mentioned by that shadowblade user down below on this page: www.protondb.com/app/431730

Buttons and knobs to add a bunch of quick shortcuts for your art program - adjust brush size/hardness, undo/redo, copy/paste, switch tools, adjust hue/saturation/value, activate macros, whatever functions you assign them to!

Tragically this man still felt that he needed to drive. Too old to work operating heavy machinery, too old to be operating heavy machinery on public roads in a dense county. Public transit in the suburbs must be expanded.

How's the level designs? I've head complaints that it's very linear. One thing I liked about MP1 was how it was so interconnected in various ways. How does 4 compare?
