From the magnificent North. I champion bottom-up history, I urge young people to think more critically and have realistic aspirations. No time for liars & bulllshitters. Much time for roast lamb & mint sauce, malts, fine wines & real ales.
Indeed. But we aren't taxing those who can afford to pay more. The NHS is permanently skint and barely surviving without targeted private funding, yet I've still never paid for healthcare in my life. It's survival and my free health is my only principle.

Healthcare before principles. Country before party.

Possibly another step for those with vested interests to gather strength and wealth whilst public service broadcasting continues to be crushed. 'Strength through joy?'......

Every word Lewis. All main points are covered and extremely thorough. The only other issue I could add is the progress of genuine uneasiness and fear amongst us about how we can stop this hateful, divisiveness marching on slowly but surely in our communities. Fascism really is here.

Thanks Tom. Since the dawn of time, or at least since the days of the late 18th Century radicals circa 1815 onwards and Chartists around 1845 the Left have never had a decent piss-up in any known brewery! 'tis the way of things 🤨😆😳

Many believe BBC News has never been so right wing in recent decades, yet here they are being lectured to by a convicted rapist, fraudster and populist, fascist nutcase about an edited clip of him encouraging insurrection. (Which he did). There's something very sinister happening. It's upside down.

ICE seems to be nothing more than Proud Boys and licensed thugs. We used to berate East Germany's STASI for behaviour like this 40 years ago but they tell us this is what Republicans voted for.

Fantastic, Alice! What a sight for sore eyes you are and in that beautiful setting. Enjoy every moment! (and leave the flaming laptop alone) 👍

I'd consider this too. Along with some tweakings to thresholds and personal allowances. 👍
