To me, 2026 is gonna start on a sour note. My 97 year old grandma is in hospicenl care and we don't know how much longer she'll last. Life is gonna be so different without her. 😞

Honestly not a fan of the Monsterverse. I prefer the original Kong story. The "Beauty and the Beast" aspect of the story makes it more engaging and more tragic in my book.

After what happened on 9/11, this movie's depressing. Miss those towers so much.

Love the original since I started middle school. The way they did the stop motion back then is incredible. My grandparents were only kids when it came out. I was 13 when the Peter Jackson remake came out and that blew me away. Both films are among my all-time favorites.

It's not a terrible movie, but I prefer the original 1933 and the 2005 Peter Jackson versions. This version is depressing mostly due to the climax being set at the Twin Towers. I was 9 when 9/11 happened and that devastated me. Still miss those buildings so much.

Pretty sure the 2005 version would destroy you.

Loved the original since I was 12. The 2005 Peter Jackson version came out a year later when I was 13 and that blew me away. Two of my favorite movies.

Don't forget "The African Queen". It's the film that got him an Oscar.

Greatest movie musical ever. Perfect comedy set during the end of the silent era. Jean Hagen should've won the Oscar.

Yet it became Walt's greatest triumph. I'd say the remake from this year was the REAL folly...

I think this film was what started the epic film trend of the '50s and '60s. "Quo Vadis" was what made it official.

One of my favorite Christmas movies. Also love the 1994 remake. Edmund Gwenn was perfect as Kris and definitely deserved his Oscar.

Still a feel-good movie this time of year.

Still remember seeing the movie in English class my freshman year of high school. We had just read the book and the film is still so good. Gregory Peck deserved his Oscar for this.
