Now that's a bit more like it. Most fun pacing as of movie 5, has a decent plot (though it's not the deepest thing in the world) and it's just generally a fun experience. It's the most involved Satoshi and the gang get which is pretty cool

Pocket Monsters: Revelation-Lugia

Mostly really boring. A lot of it feels kinda aimless and "Ash picks up some rocks while Lugia fights the Legendary Birds" is pretty much all that happens of note in this whole hour twenty minutes. I kinda forgot there was a human villain because he didn't do shit

Pocket Monsters the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back

Pretty good! Feels a bit short since it spends so much time setting up who Mewtwo is, but the rest of it is solid still. Satoshi's sacrifice is iconic.
And yeah it's better than the english version, Mewtwo is a LOT better and more interesting here.

I did not grow up with Flipnote. I am unable to get all the references or understand entirely what this is trying to capture at times. That said holy fuck l REALLY like this. Themes I find really interesting tackled in a very unique way. Great stuff.

It's far from the greatest thing in the world and Lost Canvas is still the best Saint Seiya anime but this is really solid and has all of the heart and soul of the original. Maybe a bit too reliant on mimicking OG but come on it's Saint Seiya

Watched the anime a long time ago and wanted to see how much I still liked it. And yeah, it's great. Love the cast and the mental showdowns as much as back then. The second half doesn't hold up to the first even here, but the ending was way better here than in the show. Very Good.

It's a messy, disgusting story that I struggled to get through. It's a REALLY hard read.

Hollow Knight: Silksong

Absolutely worth the wait. What a phenomenal game man. The difficulty can be annoying some times but it's never quite enough for it to ruin the experience too much. One of the best games I've ever played for sure

I was so scared that I wouldn't like this. I didn't like Volume 1 and wasn't feeling 2, and I felt like quitting. But it was worth it. It has its downs, so low you think it'll never recover (volume 8). But the highs were worth it. Maybe Volume 10 will be mid, maybe not. But we will be watching.

War of the Worlds (2025)
