Today I go to the hospital for a surgical procedure involving the removal of all my kidney stones under full anesthesia. Fingers crossed that this goes well. I’ve had a rough year passing 9 stones and coping with the existinance of much more stone stuck in my kidney and ureter.

On 3/25/15, 30-year-old Tufts University student Rümeysa Öztürk was detained by 6 plainclothes agents of the DHS in Massachusetts with no cause. Her hearing is Monday. Show up at 9 AM at the Federal courthouse - 11 Elmwood Ave, Burlington Vermont to protest this injustice.
