First pitch thrown by two guys that went into the HOF wearing another teams colours. Nothing against them, they helped us win a title but this was dumb on a different level. How they didn’t have the best pitcher in team history (and best pitcher of his time) there is ridiculous. #retire37 #CurseOf37

For anyone that grew up during Dave Stieb’s prime watching him pitch, know just how dominant he was. Advanced metrics of today just bare that out for those that didn’t get to witness it.

This game also lead to Larry Bird giving an interview about maybe not having players with heart to stop the Lakers from running up and down the floor. Then in game 4, Kevin McHale clotheslines Kurt Rambis on a fast break. That was the series turning point.

Everyday as I get older I feel there another reason for a #SORFH. JDB also played good guy and bad guy in multiple James Bond movies. He was a bute.

Great job today. I will tell you that personally I have voted conservative in every federal and provincial election since 1988. This election made me change my thinking to vote for the person I felt best suited to deal with DT, and for me that was clearly Mark Carney.
