The humidifier is spewing vapor into the air and Pandora is playing my Cat Stevens station and I'm cozy in the oversized fuzzy fleece-lined "slankety" pull over thing I got for Christmas. All in all, not doing too bad.

Had some nausea afterwards, which was treated with pretzels and ginger ale and eventually went away. Took a good nap - I'm not if the tiredness was a side effect or just my usual. I actually got some stuff done this afternoon, but now the nausea has come back. May have toast for dinner.

Had my first Shingles vaccine this morning, as well as the pneumococcal pneumonia vaccine (proud of myself that i apparently spelled both of those correctly, spelling does matter). Got them both in the same arm, which is now quite sore (not my dominant arm thankfully).

What I'm cooking tonight:
This Cinncinati Chili recipe from Cooking Light circa 2008, with some tinkering - no beans (I don't care if it's not authentic) and the addition of carrots and (dried) herbs. Served on it's own, or over rice, with cornbread (store-bought, don't judge) & cheese on top.
