Libraries in the UK will have information on local groups etc. Also posting info on community noticeboards in coffee shops and supermarkets might be a good idea. More widely, it would have to be newspaper ads and radio interviews I think

Definitely agree. I also work with old books, and once you learn the smell is basically a mix of mould and ancient cigarette smoke, it is impossible to find it pleasant. Also a shout out to the many dead spiders I've found in 2nd hand books and had to wonder "did this spider see the war?"
