my hot sauce is finished! sliced and fermented the peppers for 10 days, blended the mixture, and strained the pulp. very easy process, will be working on fun flavors next!

it’s my favorite time of year. the sun is out, the nursery smells like lemon blossoms. a trip to the nursery brightens my day every time!

started the fermentation process for my hot sauce. used peppers, garlic, and a salt water brine. I added a smaller glass jar as a weight. it’s supposed to take around 10 days to fully ferment.

I plant the green beans direct and they start producing beans after about 3 weeks. the tomato and pepper plants take longer so they get started inside.

I planted the seeds in little disposable pots indoors so that they can grow into plants before I plant them outside once it warms up. it helps me get more food from the garden sooner.
