The four blooms on one stem is my take on the daybreak star, the "herb of understanding" from a vision of Nicholas Black Elk. In 2024, we visited the Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center in Seattle and learned about this symbol as a reminder of our strength in diversity and common humanity.

This isn't until February but I just got IRB approval, so I'm excited to announce registration is open for Storytellers & Leaders: Games for Good, a leadership program for Black high school students who love storytelling and games. #BlackSkyGamers
