The county animal shelter was a happening place but Dad and I emerged triumphant with Freida, a new little chihuahua companion for him. She’s so sweet and Dad is so happy.

I’m having a hard time with the posts about honoring our soldiers who died to protect our freedom. The felon & his Republican enablers have snatched up people, without due process, & are paying for them to be imprisoned in a foreign country. Is anyone free when this is allowed to continue?

Twelve people at my house for Easter lunch today, including several small children doing an egg hunt in the backyard… Mr. Merlin was very much What Is This? Mischa hovered in a bedroom doorway, Holly and Zoe disappeared. It was a lovely lunch, tons of food! I’m very full and feeling relaxed.

My little Zoe so amuses me. She was watching me from the top of the china cabinet then curled to sleep on top with her back to me, which she’s never done before. I felt somehow she was displeased with me, though I’m not sure why. Funny kitty!
