One thing I love about hockey is the way the players wear their hearts on their sleeves about stuff like this. NFL/MLB/NBA trades mostly seem to be a mix of cold professionalism or caring more about what the moves mean for their chances of winning but NHL guys just miss their teammates

There's this 'abandoned' cafe near my work. I've not seen it open since at least 2019 but it always looks pretty clean and tidy as if it were opening up tomorrow. Today I noticed they've decorated it for Christmas
