I’m assuming you mean explain them correctly, which is a bit more challenging. I’ve written plenty of things about how, like, Pym Particles work, but (sshh) it’s all bullshit.

Any thoughts on how husbands could get out of going to things they’re not interested in with their age-appropriate wives?

(My wife is actually almost as much of a homebody as me so I have very little to complain about, but my inner Henny Youngman is obnoxious.)

A fine Kirby cover, all the more amazing considering Kirby probably had no idea who Nova was.

If I asked an artist to do what Sal did in panel 4 on a page with 4 panels, let alone 7, I’d feel like the most giant asshole. I would not imagine it possible.

Sal remains “my” Hulk artist. No other conveys the Hulk’s elemental power and fury, but also (at the time) childlike nature, as well.

Science! Science happened.

Thanks very much! I love writing Hank. All the characters in Battleworld are a blast!

Indeed he is!

If I had his money I’d hire people who knew what the fuck they were doing to take care of stuff like that

Which, sure, maybe you’ll become successful, but you’ll do so by turning into the kind of person that disgusts you. (Unless that kind of person doesn’t disgust you, in which case you were never gonna say or do anything.)

And all too often those people get punished for it, which sadly reinforces the system. The Mad Men, Lenkov & Rudin stories struck me for how many of the people quoted were out of the business. A lot of up and coming ppl reading that come away thinking “I better stay quiet”.

And has never tried holding peoples’ attention by reading in front of them

Sounds like a terrific lineup of guests! Jimmy and Phil are the nicest.

There was a great two issue Marvel series by, IIRC, Mark Schultz and Al Williamson later.

Not Williamson though right?

Now you need one of these.

“Will she SAVE the comics industry—or RUIN it?”

Someone else will have to draw it though. I just come up with the ideas (which are ripoffs of much better ideas by my forebears), then make others do the hard stuff.
