In light of the coup attempt I'm reminded that South Korea was the only country as politically polarized as the USA when Pew asked about it a few years ago

The first line is "People who support different political parties". The overall median is 50%. Singapore is lowest at 33%. France is 65%, Taiwan is 69%, and the U.S. and South Korea are at 90%.
