I’d say if you’re curious you’ll get likable enough characters, great practical effects, a good music score, and a decent if a bit clunky story that gets the themes of the series down pretty well. It’s missing the claustrophobic atmosphere of the game, though, and as a result it’s not as scary.

They wanted to have Mark as the night guard that dies at the beginning, but he was working on his own movie Iron Lung at the time and wasn’t able to do the cameo. They have said that they still want to have him in a sequel if they get the chance.

I prefer FNaF 1 to Sonic 1, but Sonic 2 & 3 I prefer to FNaF 1. Very excited to see where FNaF 2 falls on that scale!

I would have liked the film to have a bit more of the heart celebrating the creativity Minecraft is about, as the bits that are there are appreciated, but very undercooked. Still, you can’t get Jack Black and Jason Momoa gripping each other’s buttocks while gliding on a bad green screen elsewhere.
