Trump signs up along rural Wisconsin roads for most of the last 10 years are completely gone now. Over the last two months, I’ve driven hundreds of miles along these roads, and literally the only thing I’ve seen about him was this the other day: #TACO on the tile of a gas station bathroom.

These zinnias grew outside until just the other day, when temperatures dropped sharply. Awake at night after bringing them in, I sat down at this desk and turned on the lamp. Awhile later, I noticed a tiny spider crawling around among the petals. It started stringing a web between the flowers.
