The other night I had a dream about kicking around an off season British holiday camp with David Lynch. The next morning I walked down a local side street to avoid the crowds and saw this on a fire exit. A pleasing synchronicity.

two carved wooden curlews on my workbench. The birds are made from old oak, with beaks carved from yew and walnut. They stand on bases of concrete with a coroded steel post. On the bench are other partially made wooden birds.
