This morning before work went on a nice walk in 20 degree weather. It's better then caffeine to wake one up.

It is snowing again. That groundhog really knows his stuff. We'll need him after the NOAA was gutted.

Sometimes I feel cold in the house and look and for some reason the thermostat is set to 62. Other time I feel hot and it has moved to 78. The darn thing is possessed.

Happy Twin Peaks Day!

I want a story in which our Hero sells his soul to the Devil but when it's time to collect he hands him the keys to a KIA Soul.

"They were all in love with dyin'
They were drinking from a fountain
That was pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain"

It's the time of the year I complain about having to read too many RPG books. It hasn't been as bad so far but I fear the avalanche is soon.

Yesterday I finished the series In the Dark about a blind woman who gets involved in crime. It is a CW drama now on Netflix and it is Drama first. Like many shows good enough to hold my attention all the way through but I doubt I'll ever rewatch it.

"I met a girl who sang the blues
And I asked her for some happy news
But she just smiled and turned away"

At this rate I'm expecting Punxsutawney Phil to be made director of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

At work something blew up that I didn't do and can't fix. I've told the people who can and now dealing with this is going to be my day.

I finished up my taxes today. $398 refund from Fed and State and is a bit lower then I was expecting but still good. I'll have to find something cool to buy with it.

I am not fast at checking phone notifications. I kind of feel if you need to get in contact with me immediately then somewhere along the line you made some bad choices.

“What do you mean ‘like me?’ There is no ‘like me.’ I’m not ‘like’ anything, and if I were it certainly wouldn’t be me. I don’t have a choice, I’m a puppet. The universe just sticks its hand up my butt and if I don’t dance people get hurt.”

"It's the end of the world as we know; and I feel fine."

Sometimes it is fun to say "No" to people. I get lots of odd requests at work and get to say No a lot. I also get to tell people doing it that way is called Fraud.

Grocery store was weird today. Not many people there but the ones shopping were not aware of other people. Lots of them stopping in the middle of the isle on their phone or arguing really loud. And then most of them waited in line for the one open cashier instead of the many empty self check outs.

Last night in my D&D game the PCs released my world's version of Lord Soth from a magical prison. They are pretty sure they are going to regret that later but he was nice enough to them for the assist.

I'm selling RPG items. I constantly reduce and grow the collection. Last week 25 Pathfinder modules sold. This week some Mutants and Masterminds items sold but they were less popular then I was expecting. I use auctions and got some low offers afterwards but I don't encourage that behavior.

I started reading Earth Abides and was 100 pages in when I realized I'd already read it. It's a really good classic sci fi story. I then went to the Icarus Needle one of Zahn's Icarus saga. It was perfectly fine. Ultimately the reading plan this year is more of what I own and less from the library.

Round and Round was a fun Hallmark Christmas movie. It's of the Groundhog Day sub genre and fixes one of the biggest problems with those kinds of films. It's still a Hallmark movie just better then they usually do. I'd suggest watching it if that sounds like something you might enjoy.

At Thanksgiving I'll be going over to my sisters. There is a lot of family I don't usually see or want to see this year and she asked me to bring wine. I don't drink wine and I don't know wine. But I can makeup a story about how I visited this vineyard a couple of years ago and got this wine.
