Over the last couple of days, the system that the IRS uses for EVERYTHING has been going through some “updates”. Today my laptop has had two program changes installed with updates. Not sure what is happening, but it doesn’t look all that great.

On April 14, 2025 I took the Treasury department's DRP offer. The other options before me:
1. Ride it out and hope that rif doesn't get me
2. VSIP, up to $25K buyout with the caveat that I can't work for the federal government for 5 years and if I join back up I owe the VSIP back before day 1.
