Indeed. Self editing is a tricky thing to learn! Even the best authors struggle with it. Rely on those you trust wherever you can and it will make it much easier.

Writing is never a waste! Sometimes you have to write it wrong before you can write it correctly.
I've rewritten an entire novel twice before and I couldn't have made it any other way. The end justifies the means.
