Meditation is another path to this that doesn’t require the drug. I’m not opposed to this path and others,but meditation is certainly more convenient.

I vote yes based on personal experiences of sleep paralysis, lucid dreaming and the rare intentional astral projection. I’ve also been privy to what you would describe as communications with disembodied consciousnesses. I can understand how this could be seen as subjective but was “real” nonetheless
