We estimate the divergence times between multiple pairs of allopatric & sympatric rubyspot damselflies. Including the discovery of a deep split (3.7ma) between Pacific and Atlantic smoky rubyspots.

Our sequencing includes an F1 hybrid at a zone of secondary contact at the Isthmus of Tehuantepec.

Thrilled to share the 3rd and largest paper from my PhD!🎉:
"Spatiotemporal Dynamics of Non-Ecological Speciation in Rubyspot Damselflies" is out now in Molecular Ecology!

⬇️Includes divergence times and an F1 hybrid

Thanks to my fantastic co-authors & collaborators!
